What`s up?

Winter break started a while ago and Christmas has passed, but the only thing I have done so far is stay up late and watch LOTR back to back. I need to find something better to do....
Other than that I got a tumblr! I just need to figure out how to use it.

I also need to get into the habit of updating this blog more often and get off the computer once in a while to do something other than mindlessly surfing the web. If that made any sense.

I think I should write at least one blog post each week about projects I'm working on. That way there will be some consistency in posts and there is always something I know I can write about.

The Mark of Athena Book Review (Spoilers, be warned)

Hey guys, I finished the Mark of Athena a day ago but I didn't write something until now because it would've looked like this:
OHMYGODPERCABETHANDPOORLEOANDECHOTHEBOOKENDEDWHY?!!!!!!!!!!!PERCYANDANNABETHFALLINTOTATARTUS?WHAT?WHAT?WHAT?!?!?IHAVETOWAITANOTHERYEARFORTHEHOUSEOFHADES?!REALLY?!!!

I don't expect you to understand what I typed there because a) I can barely read it and I wrote it
                                                                                            b) There is a spoiler in there for people who                    
                                                                                                 have not read the book.

For people who haven't read the Mark of Athena, get it, read it and finish it. You will no regret it PJO fans it is awesome. Remember when I said the characters were little OOC? Ignore that, it wasn't that at all.
There is so much character development in the book. We get to find out so much more about the seven and that was probably what I mistook as OOCness.

And here is where the spoilers start. Stop reading if you haven't read the books.--------------

Leo POV's , I found, were sort of sad. He keeps thinking of himself as sort of the "loner" in the group and the seventh wheel (thanks to Queen Dirt Face and Nemesis). He just keeps smiling despite that.

Piper POV's, I admit I didn't really like her at first but in this book since we learn so much more about her. I think she's a pretty clever and brave person. I mean she did stop Jason and Percy from killing each other when they were being possessed by eidolons and she did get Achelous's second horn without dying. Come on Piper haters you have to admit she is awesome.


Annabeth POV's, PERCABETH!  That's all I can say. And CassJayTuck (watch her review of the MoA, it's awesome) was right about the part how most people root for it, it's not the type romance that takes away the plot. After the Lost Hero and the Son of Neptune where we were deprived of Percabeth, as I like to say it, it's so awesome we get to see them together again. I love reading just those cute moments where they hold each other hands, fell asleep on the glass floor and....they. just. fell. into. Tartarus. Now I'm just depressed all over again.

Percy POV's, need I really say anything? Look up. Okay fine. Percy is same old Percy but a lot more mature than in the PJO books. He now understands why Luke felt bitter and is a little smarter...well...most of the time.

Jason gets along surprisingly well with Percy and I love the part where they fist bump after Percy tells Octavian to shut up. Which reminds me, anyone else what to punch Octavian in the face?

Frank and Hazel: There ain't no love triangle here, Sammy is Leo's great-grand father! Surprise! Frank was pretty understanding when Hazel and Leo were holding hands when Hazel was showing her memories of Sammy. Hazel keeps everyone together, she seems to understand everyones emotions and is always there to help them.
There is so much I want to say about these two characters, but right now I'll say one of the cutest couples ever and their back stories make them so different from the previous characters. Which brings me to another
point CassJayTuck mentioned. Does anyone notice the books are little darker now? I'm okay with it but don't you notice that? Rick Riordan knows we are growing up or something cause the backstories and all that are a lot more twisted, I guess you can say, then PJO.

Other characters I fell need to mentioned: Reyna and Echo.

Don't hate Reyna, she's leading a camp of Romans. So really people let's see you do it better.

Echo needs to be remembered. She's really brave and determined even though Narcissus is a complete moron.

To sum this up, Mark of Athena is an awesome book and if you haven't read it, READ IT!

If you haven't read any Percy Jackson or Rick Riordan books, why are you here?

THE MARK OF ATHENA! OH MY GODS!

As you already know I fangirl a lot over my favourite books, and since my sister manage to get a copy of the Mark of Athena from the library... I have resulted to taking it when she isn't reading it and hiding in the bath room to read it.......

I'm probably going to look back to these two days somewhere in the future and laugh about how obsessed I can be over books........

Anyways so far the book is amazing even I find the characters a bit OOC (out of character).

And....I have to log out before I rant so bye and wait 'till I calm down- Allie (who is still fangirling and is very hyper)

It's almost Halloween! (in some sense *cough* )

Well, here is what I have so far: 

An old t-shirt I tried to make look better but failed (and you can see my toe in the picture! XD)

An a few pieces of cloth for the "feathers"

I'm obviously going to need more. I think the colours going pretty well together, although we need some greenish coloured cloth to balance it out.

I need to do my homework so I got to go but I hope you enjoyed my quick post-Allie

So today I had P.E first period and had to run six laps. I can tell you it wasn't fun. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did it in 15:05 minutes.

Also, since Halloween is coming up, I'm starting to make my costume. Take a guess, it's one of my favourite animals.

What I like to do

So here I am, just got back from the second week of highschool and it's pretty awesome.

But totally unrelated to school, I thought I'd like to show you guys what I like to do in my sparetime.

First thing: Drawing (it's Merida)
I also have a tendency to doodle on my notes.... teeheez :p

Second thing: Knitting

The top photo is a shawl I'm knitting for my grandma (Meandering vines)

                           and Commuter mitts for myself.

Third thing: Reading

I love the Percy Jackson series, Ranger's apprentice and basically anything that's fantasy.

And the fourth thing would probably be Youtubing........

Highschool

What's up fellow Homo Sapiens?

School just started for us here and my school is HUGE.

Well high school.

I seriously think the first I'm ever gonna do there is get lost.

Then again when you're unfamiliar with a place it can feel like a maze no matter what size.

Yep, that's the new school feeling.

School`s Starting Soon!

     So what`s up guys summer is ending and school is starting. Am I the only who hasn`t prepared anything?

Probably. (And why did the that first line rhyme?)

     I just came back a week ago from China I forgot to ask you guys how was your summer?

Mine was awesome (except it is 38 degrees Celsius basically everywhere in China.).

Just 10 things I am going to say from the top of my head about this trip and summer:

1: A dodecahedron has 12 sides.

2: Alice in Wonderland was written by a mathematician.

3: I hate Airplanes

4: and Airplane food

5: The sky is grey in Hong Kong.

6:  Percabeth is still awesome!

7: I can't read Chinese very well ( especially if it's simplified) .

8: The Great Wall of China is a long climb.

9: The Forbidden City is a long walk (let my feet tell you).

10: Disneyland is fun but you are going to stand in 38 degrees (with humidity) for most of the day.
Just a heads up.

 I am also knitting/Youtubing/Drawing/ Reading these past few days so I'm fangirling most of my day. XD
